Rene H. Tam Ho has been promoted from assistant vice president to vice president and regional sales coordinator for in-store branches on Oahu for Bank of Hawaii. She will be responsible for sales, service and compliance programs. She joined Bank of Hawaii in 1991 as a customer service representative.
Craig Avellar has been promoted from vice president to senior vice president and division manager, BancWest Investment Services-Hawaii for First Hawaiian Bank. Avellar has more than 19 years of investment experience. He joined First Hawaiian Bank as an investment specialist in 1995.
Joy P. Cabildo has been promoted from vice president and division manager to senior vice president and division manager, Residential Real Estate Division for First Hawaiian Bank. Cabildo joined First Hawaiian Bank in 1993 as a branch manager with the bank’s Creditcorp subsidiary.
Laura-Lynn V. Dacanay has been promoted from vice president and region manager to senior vice president and region manager, Guam and CNMI Region at First Hawaii Bank. Dacanay joined the company in 1991.
Kent R. Lau has been promoted from vice president and team leader to senior vice president and team leader, Main Banking Region for First Hawaiian Bank. Lau has more than 20 years of banking experience in the Islands. He joined First Hawaiian in 1986.
Mitchell Nishimoto has been promoted from vice president and region supervisor to senior vice president and Maui region manager for First Hawaiian Bank. He has more than 20 years of banking experience. He was named vice president and Kahului area manager in 1999 and vice president and region supervisor in 2006.
W. Bruce Barrett has been promoted to executive vice president of residential operations for Castle & Cooke. He has been with Castle & Cooke Homes Hawaii for eight years. Barrett’s previous employment includes working as principal of ERA Concepts Unlimited.
Donna Tomita has been promoted to vice president of sales and marketing for Castle & Cooke Homes Hawaii. Tomita joined the company in 1995. She has 20 years of experience in the home building industry.
Reed Young has been named training administrator for City Mill in the corporate office. He started with City Mill in 1999. His past employment includes serving as an assistant manager of training for the Pathmark grocery chain.
Sandra Hee has been promoted to Kaneohe store manager for City Mill. She will oversee all aspects as management including sales, merchandising, inventory control, shrink, scheduling, logistics, and other operational aspects of the store. She started with the company in 1994.
Gary P. Oliveira has been selected as the general manager and chief executive officer of the Pacific Club. He will be responsible for the management of all aspects of the club including operating and capital budgets, member development, and overall leadership consistent with established polices and high levels of quality to ensure member satisfaction.
