Pauline B. Akiona has been promoted to vice president, card services division for First Hawaiian Bank. She is responsible for vendor and contract management.
Matthew E. Chun has been promoted to vice president of the risk management department for First Hawaiian Bank. Chun joined the company in 2005 as assistant vice president of commercial banking operations and systems.
Cheryl Y. T. Shimabukuro has been named vice president of the commercial loan center for First Hawaiian Bank. Shimabukuro joined the firm in 1972.
Eliza E. Young has been named vice president of the credit services center of First Hawaiian Bank. Young joined FHB in 1990 as a credit analyst.
Kathi Buettner has been named web strategist and optimization manager for ResortQuest Hawaii. Buettner has seven years’ experience in the travel industry and online marketing field.
James Kenwolf has been named managing director for Scanlan Management. He will oversee the overall operations of the region’s 26 Oahu and Maui Jack in the Box restaurants.
Kenneth Chan has been named finance and asset manager for Scanlan Management. He will oversee facility services at Jack in the Box restaurants.
Lee Ann DeLima has been named headmaster of the Kamehameha Schools Maui campus in Pukalani. DeLima joined Kamehameha Schools Maui in 1999.
Candice Kraughto has been named regional communications manager for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Hawaii.
Kenneth C. S. Pai has been named senior vice president and manager of the Trust Real Estate Department for First Hawaiian Bank. Pai will be responsible for overseeing the bank’s trust real estate, property management and real estate advisory services. He has more than 30 years of experience in corporate and commercial real estate lending.
Garet Azama was promoted to assistant vice president of business intelligence and information for the Hawaii Medical Service Association. Azama is responsible for overseeing the ongoing development of business intelligence infrastructure. He was previously director of HMSA’s financial reporting, analysis and medical economics.
