Celebrity Fashion Items To Be Raffled @ Laughs For Lions

The Kamehameha Lions Club Foundation presents Laughs For Lions, a comedy benefit for youth scholarships and Lions service projects throughout Hawaii, Aug. 9 at Mamiya Theatre.

On stage will be Korean-Irish comedy genius Steve Byrne, Man of a Thousand Impressions Jim Gossett, The Amazing Alan Arita, comedy mentalist The Great Baloni and Abe & Franklin.

In addition to great comedy, guests also will get a chance to win great prizes, including costumes and props from various movies such as shoes worn by Hilary Swank in Freedom Writers, a candlestick from Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix and a plate used in Memoirs of a Geisha, as well as personal clothing from some of Hollywood’s biggest celebrities.

The plaza opens at 5:30 p.m. for food, beverages and raffles. Showtime is at 7:45.
