In observance of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Windward Mall will host “Paint the Mall Pink” from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday in Center Court.

In association with American Cancer Society and other community organizations, “Paint the Mall” will transform the mall into an all-pink shopping center with fashion shows, complimentary bra fittings, various information tables about breast cancer, Zumba and yoga demonstrations, and much more.

Guest speakers, local celebrities and performers Anuhea and Mailani also will participate. Shoppers may get in the spirit of the event by showing up in pink outfits to win prizes. Those who don’t own a pink outfit may find many pink options at the mall’s weekend-long sidewalk sale.

“Breast cancer awareness is an important issue to the health care community,” said Milton Hirata, the ACS Hawaii Pacific region communications director. “It is important that we share available resources with Hawaii’s public and educate them through engaging tactics.”
