The Lanikai Mortgage Players’ Skulduggery Sails The Atlantic Or She Made Her Maiden Voyage But Didn’t Come Across is in its final weekend with 8 p.m. shows this Friday through Sunday in Shreve Theater at Lanikai pavilion.

The melodrama by the late Nelson Shreve is directed by Jack Morse. It takes place aboard the ocean liner S.S. Gigantic in the early 1890s. While en route from New York to Southampton, the all-star cast has to cope with international intrigue and roguery. The ship is sprinkled with characters like Vance Trueblue, Capt. Mizzen, Sailor Sam, Nematode Fester, the Doily Dolls, Dimity Darling, Ermintrude Darling and the mysterious Jasmine.

The play will be followed by a fast-moving olio directed by Theo Rodgers and Fred Barnett. Tickets cost $7 and include free popcorn, and reservations can be made by calling 2625482. Proceeds support maintenance projects and other activities at the park.
