Mayor Mufi Hannemann welcomes Cirque du Soleil creative director Carmen Ruest

At a press conference July 31 at Blaisdell Arena, Cirque du Soleil announced that its Saltimbanco Arena Tour will stop there for a limited engagement from Oct. 30 to Nov. 16. Tickets range from $40 to $95 for adults and $32 to $76 for children 12 and under, and are available at www.cirquedusoleil.com. During the press conference, Saltimbanco performers Adriana and Eduardo entertained guests with an act called Boleadoras, featuring traditional Argentinian technique mixed with contemporary staging.
