Dear Pamela,

While driving down Manoa Road I could not avoid hitting a television cable, which then became lodged onto my wind-shield. The driver of the car before me stopped to render aid. Tracy Chang untangled the cable while I checked the neighborhood to see where it came from. She was even concerned about my passenger, my elderly sister.

Just then a man came out of his home. He had just lost his cable service. Throughout my anxiety, Tracy remained with me. I want her to know how deeply she’s appreciated.

Dear Pamela,

My husband and I were shopping in Waipio Gentry when my blood pressure suddenly plummeted and I fainted. I would like to send a big mahalo to the management of Costco, the lady who’s an RN at St. Francis-Liliha, the man shopping with his young son (sorry, I wasn’t able to get any names), and all the other patrons who offered help. It’s so heartwarming to know that there are such caring people, and I will never forget their kindness.

Aloha Pamela,

I was passing through the triangular park in Kailua when I fell and hurt my head. Two men

came to help me, assisting me to my feet and giving me some ice water. I’d like to thank them for taking the time to give me some TLC.

Dear Yaeko, Thelma and Sasakis,

Your anonymous angels will be the first to tell you the greatest reward they could receive is for you to pass on their caring gestures to others in need.
