Perreira is executive director of Hawaii Government Employees Association (HGEA), AFSCME Local 152, AFL-CIO. HGEA represents approximately 43,000 active and retired workers in state and county governments in Hawaii. Perreira began his career at HGEA in 1983. In addition, he serves as president of the Hawaii AFL-CIO.

McNally will continue as a nonresident fellow at the East-West Center. His research focuses on comparative capitalisms, especially the nature and logic of China’s capitalist transition, and he is working on a book project that studies the implications of China’s capitalist re-emergence on the global order.

Hayashino currently serves as vice president for university advancement at California State University at Sacramento, where she oversees the external relations of the university including private giving, alumni relations, university marketing and publications.
