I decided to walk from my appointment at Straub Clinic, but I did not bring my cane. At the corner of King and Cooke streets, I fell on the sidewalk, bruising my left leg and right ankle. Two young men came to my aid. One of them is Chris and the other I did not get the name. Chris brought me home and would not take a reward. I want to say God bless you for helping me.

Dear Pamela,
I would like to thank two unidentified men “in a large truck” who helped my mom at Waikele Shopping Center. They called an ambulance after seeing her dis-oriented on the side of the street. My 84-year-old mom, who has dementia and a bad heart, left her house in Waipahu to go to my sister’s, but ended up five blocks away lost at the shopping center. My whole family is so thankful for them for doing what they did. I don’t know who they, are but I hope they see this. God bless them.

Aloha Pamela,
I got into a car accident in the intersection of Anoi Road and Likelike Highway. A nice lady and her son were the first people to come to my aid. I believe they drove a Lexus SUV. The lady told me she would give me her information because she witnessed the accident. She had a blank paper ready to go, but then I didn’t see her again. I’m not sure if she gave the police her information, but I just wanted to say thank you to her and her son for their help.

Dear Pamela,
We in the Halau Hula Ka Lehua Tuahine were waiting for our flight on go! Airlines to Kauai to compete in its first competition at the Mokihana Festival. We wanted a group picture of the entire halau, and Trevor willingly took on the task. We would like to send out a MAHALO NUI LOA to Trevor, who volunteered to take a lot of pictures from many cameras and make a lot of hula students happy!
He had just enough time to make his Island Air flight to Molokai after he took the pictures. We weren’t able to get a contact number or e-mail address after all the commotion and rush. We would love to personally thank him and send him a picture memento of our halau, who did very well for our first time on Kauai. He gave all of us a wonderful memory that morning, and we want him to know that we haven’t forgotten him.
