Coming To The Aid Of Strangers

I stopped by the mall to pick up my daughter to take her to volleyball practice, but my car would not start. The battery was dead, so I rushed back to the mall to look for someone with jumper cables. I saw a man drinking coffee and approached him, and luckily he had jumper cables.
Patrick was nice enough to move his car to ours and started to help us. It took a awhile as we could not find the “+” or “-” on his car battery. We were looking around for a flashlight or pliers to have it done correctly. He even asked a stranger nearby.
We finally got our car started and I want to give a big mahalo to him. I failed to get his number to reward him, as I was already late in getting my daughter to practice.
It’s so good to know that we still do have kind and caring people in Honolulu. Much mahalo, Patrick.

Aloha Pamela,
I decided to walk to Punchbowl cemetery instead of standing for a half hour in the sun for the bus. I didn’t know it was so far and I grew very tired. Acouple in a white car offered me a ride. Then I could-n’t find my son’s grave, when a worker came to help me.
Even when I made the wrong choices, God sent these three people to help me. I ask that He bless these people abundantly.

Dear Pamela,
We took my 4-year-old niece to Kahala Mall to have her picture taken with Mr. Bunny this past Easter. When we arrived home, we could not find those pictures in our bags. I called Security and other stores with the hopes that someone found them and turned them in, but was so disappointed.
We returned to the mall a few days later and decided to check with the photographer. The cashier immediately asked us if we had lost some pictures! Someone found it and turned it in to them!
I want to thank that person for being caring enough and taking the time to return these memorable pictures.

Recently my husband and I had a frightening experience. On our way to the bank, my husband dropped the envelope with checks and savings book in it.
We would like to thank the woman who found the envelope and officer Curt Okimoto, who took the time to locate my daugh-
ter and deliver everything intact. Many, many thanks and God bless you both.
