At the Pearl City McDonald’s, a generous customer named Ernest was in line in front of me. He politely insisted on paying for my order before he knew what I was going to order. I asked if he had done this before, and he said yes. Ernest, you made a stressful day into a wonderful day. I shall remember the kindness you showed to a stranger for a very long time. Thank you very much!

Dear Pamela,
My husband, 2-year-old son and I enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at the air show at Kaneohe Marine Corp Base. Somehow, the contents of my backpack had spilled out and I didn’t even realize it. Later that night, the doorbell rang. My husband was surprised to see a man returning my wallet and other belongings. He would not accept anything for his troubles. In the surprise of it all, my husband forgot to ask for his name.
I want to say thank you to this wonderful man. I am so sorry I was not able to thank you in person. I am so thankful that the world has honest and kind people like you.

Dear Pamela,
I wanted to say a big mahalo to the Marines who found my son! Our family went to the Blue Angels air show at the Kaneohe Marine base and my son got separated from me. In the panic, I didn’t catch their names.
With all my heart I thank our Marines for helping me and my family!

Dear Pamela,
I lost my phone at the Justin Bieber concert. I was very sad to hear from my parents when I got home that I should not get my hopes too high in getting my phone back.
My friend and my Auntie Cynthia helped me check with the Blaisdell. I am very lucky! I got my phone back, and I want to let that kind person know that I appreciate their honesty.
