My husband and I went for a walk on Magic Island. When we returned to our car, a man in a big, red truck was waiting for us. He gave my husband his money clip/billfold that had dropped on the ground.
He saved us from possible identity theft and loss of cash in these tough times!
Many thanks to an honest man who went out of his way to do a good deed! The Aloha Spirit thrives in Hawaii.

Please extend my sincere mahalo to an awesome knight in a white SUV who pushed my stalled car out of busy Friday noon hour traffic on Keeaumoku Street.
I am so appreciative of his thoughtfulness, but I did not have a chance to ask his name.
I would very much like to send him some sort of mahalo gift if he responds to this letter. Thanks to you for providing this column; this is the second time I’ve used it to express my gratitude for a stranger’s kindness.

A wonderful thing happened recently. An anonymous person found my wallet containing my credit cards/driver’s license, other personal cards, etc., near Lowe’s in Waikele. It was a worrisome weekend for me, but thanks to that wonderful individual and Good Samaritan who deserves some APPLAUSE! The manager at Lowe’s contacted me, but the person did not leave his or her name. Please extend a huge Mahalo!

As we left the Kahala Diagnostic Laboratory, my elderly brother fell in the parking lot. Out of nowhere, two gentlemen appeared, one a mail carrier, the other a young man in a UH T-shirt. They lifted and guided him to the car. I regret not getting their names, but from the bottom of my heart, thank you, Good Samaritans, and may God bless!
