Hilo Hattie is expanding its business by creating new divisions to supply uniforms for companies, room amenities to hotels and bulk-pricing discounts for tour operators and meeting planners.

The company also launched a new wholesale division that will provide Hilo Hattie-labeled merchandise to other retailers worldwide.

The new uniform and custom-print clothing division is designed for companies working with Hawaii’s visitor industry, as well as schools, small businesses and large corporations. Uniforms can be customized in various styles, colors and fabrics including polyester, cotton, rayon, silk and blends. Company logos or event themes can be incorporated to mark special events, promotions or anniversaries.

Hilo Hattie also launched its bulk-purchase division to provide value for visiting convention, association, corporation and other travel groups. Available products include merchandise ranging from fashions, gift items and souvenirs to room amenities, teasers and Hilo Hattie-branded private label food products. Minimum orders begin as low as just 24 units. Additionally, retail stores on the Mainland and internationally will now be able to carry Hilo Hattie-labeled merchandise for men and women, as well as three new locally made clothing lines including Fresh H2O, Coconut Moon and Hula Doll (designed exclusively for women). Other brand-name labels available for wholesale include Kim Taylor Reece, Mamo Howell and the most recent addition, Wyland.
