Aloha Tower Welcomes 99 Boarding Company

Aloha Tower has announced the opening of 99 Boarding Co., store featuring active outdoor apparel and related accessories for men and women. Some of the brands available include Oakley, Volcom, Fighting Eel and DA KINE. “99 Boarding Co. is the original Oakley store of the Pacific, offering the widest selection of Oakley products on the island,” says owner Jason Chang. “Most people know Oakley for its high-quality line of sunglasses for active lifestyles, but the store also carries Oakley watches, footwear, apparel, bags and accessories.” The store is located on the first floor near the main entrance, next to Hawaiian Ukulele Co. Grand Opening Festivities At Local Motion Pearlridge

Local Motion has opened a new retail store on the first floor of Pearlridge Uptown II (below Borders). Grand opening festivities are scheduled for Jan. 28 and 29 with prize giveaways, free refreshments by Maui Juice, and a live remote with KCCN FM 100 from noon to 2 p.m. on Saturday, and music with STAR 101.9 from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday. Also, stick around on Sunday for a chance to win two tickets to see 311 in concert on March 25 at the Waikiki Shell presented by BAMP project.


The Pearlridge location is Local Motion’s fifth retail store on Oahu. The store features a huge selection of Local Motion men’s and boy’s T-shirts and boardshorts, a fashionable collection of Local Motion juniors’ products, as well as surfboards and surf accessories. Other top brands available include Quiksilver, Volcom, Hurley, Billabong, Ezekiel, Mada, RVCA, DA KINE, Roxy, O’Neill and Lucy Love.

Paradise Sunglasses Rolls Into Ward Warehouse

Ward Warehouse welcomes Paradise Sunglasses, a retail cart located on the first floor in front of Calendar Club. Paradise Sunglasses offers a variety of designer-style shades for both men and women. All sunglasses are UV 400 protected, and some styles are available with polarized features. Prices start at $11.99 each, or can be purchased at a special price of two for $20. Store hours are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. For more information, call 596-2233.
