Festival Of Giving At Ward Centers

Ward Centers’ Festival of Giving fundraising and shopping event takes place Nov. 12-14. The $10 ticket gives shoppers exclusive discounts and special offers from more than 100 participating shops and restaurants throughout Ward Centers. Ticket holders can save their tickets for discounts at Ward Centers’ Specialty Farmer’s Market Nov. 16, 23 and 30. Nonprofit groups participating in Ward Centers’ Festival of Giving are selling tickets, and the organizations keep 100 percent of their ticket proceeds. Participating organizations include Aloha State Association of the Deaf, Catholic Charities Hawaii, Central Oahu Youth Services Association, Friends of the Missing Child Center Hawaii, Hawaii Canine Assistance Network, Hawaii Youth Opera Chorus, Honolulu Habitat for Humanity, Hula Preservation Society, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, P.A.R.E.N.T.S. Inc. Hawaii, Rainbow Schools Honolulu, Reef Watch Waikiki, Taiko Arts Center and The Bella Project.


Select Ward Centers’ merchants also will sell tickets to benefit a charity of their choosing.

Bliss Opens One-Day Holiday Boutique

Bliss, an online store owned by local girl Wendy Chang, opens a holiday gift boutique Nov. 13, featuring special discounts, door prizes, free samples, and a complimentary cupcakes and cocoa bar.

The event takes place at the American Association of University Women (AAUW) residence at 1802 Keeaumoku St. and also features other vendors, such as Lia Sophia (fashion jewelry), Pampered Chef (cookware and bakeware), Scentsy-Dawn Balmilero, Independent consultant (wickless candles and smell goods), Team Beachbody (shakeology) and MY Design (crystal jewelry). Free parking is available next door in the Catholic Charities parking lot.


Bliss, which celebrates its first anniversary this month, offers women’s apparel and handbags, children’s apparel and gift items, including Envirosax, Luxe Link, aromatherapy products and more.
