North Shore’s Guava Shop, a beachy chic boutique, is teaming up again with Kokua Hawaii Foundation from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, June 26, for its second Community Clothing Swap.

Interested swappers are welcome to bring swappable clothing to the store through June 25 to receive swap meet tickets, which can be used to purchase clothing on the day of the event.

All clothing swap participants will be given 10 percent off the entire store’s merchandise and 20 percent off all marked, green-themed items. Green-themed merchandise includes: Envirosax, Baggu, Alternative Apparel Organic cottons, Maile Organics and Soap & Paper Company.

The amount of swap tickets given depends on the “value” of the clothing, which is determined at the discretion of the Guava Shop owners or Kokua Hawaii Foundation volunteers. Value will be based on the cleanliness, quality, style and brand of the clothing items.

Swappable items must be clean (freshly laundered) and in very good condition. All unclaimed items will be donated to various local non-profits that provide clothing to people in need.

Swap tickets also can be purchased for $3 per ticket on the day of the event.
