Nicky Shoes At Aloha Tower

Nicky Shoes has opened at Aloha Tower Marketplace (on the first floor next to 99 Boarding Co.) offering a wide range of hip, cutting edge women’s shoes seen on fashion runways around the world at affordable prices. Their private label of shoes, from casual sandals to dressy boots and high heels, range from $20 to $58 a pair. Footwear for boys, girls and infants are available for $10 to $20 a pair. Nicky Shoes also carries its exclusive line of purses and handbags to match.


Tea At Halekulani with Chanel

The American Red Cross presents Tea at Halekulani with fashions from Chanel and a silent auction on Sunday, May 7 at the Halekulani Hotel from 1 to 5 p.m. Featured will be highlights from the Chanel spring/summer 2006 Ready-to-Wear collection, accompanied by select pieces from Chanel fine jewelry.

Among the many fabulous silent auction items is an “Ultimate Parisian Fashion Experience” to attend the world premiere in Paris in October of the CHANEL spring/summer Ready-to-Wear 2007 collection. The tres CHANEL experience will conclude with a private viewing of Coco Chanel’s exquisite eclectically decorated private apartment in the Couture House, where she entertained guests from the world of society and the arts such as Picasso, Colette and Jean Cocteau. This unique experience will also be available for public bid at the Chanel Waikiki Boutique starting with a minimum bid of $5,000. The bidding will close on Friday, May 12. Tickets to Tea at Halekulani are $250 per person. All proceeds will go directly to the American Red Cross Hawaii Chapter and stay in Hawaii. Call 739-8130.
