Heidi Fleiss has gone missing
A FEW WEEKS AGO Hollywood madame Heidi Fleiss announced plans to open a new females-only branch office in Pahrump, Nev., just outside of Vegas. But now the infamous bordello builder has vanished with no forwarding address.
DID YOU KNOW ... that brothels are only legal in Nevada counties with a population less than 400,000? That’s why you won’t find any (legal ones) in Las Vegas.
SHE’S BACK ... Britney Spears and Isaac Cohen spent the weekend comp’ed in the $40,000-a-night two-story Hugh Hefner Sky Villa at the Palms. Rumor has it that she did an encore of her weekend in Vegas with Paris Hilton by puking on her new boyfriend ... love is in the air!
THE CONSERVATORY and Botanical Gardens at Bellagio celebrates the Year of the Boar now through March 3. Check out the animated pig that snorts and wiggles its ears and nose as you walk by, or the 18-foot-tall Chinese god of wealth and fortune, and the 40-foot-tall pagoda guaranteed to bring visitors good fortune in the New Year.
LAS VEGAS No Kai Oi! Congrats to Kathleen Enright of Lahaina, who won $35,000 at the Fremont. That’s what happens when you hit a royal flush playing Let It Ride!
AND CONGRATS to stay-at-home dad, almond farmer and pro poker player Lee Padilla, who finished fourth in the 27th Annual World Series of Poker! The guy who used to work at the Hyatt Kauai brought home almost $177,000. Known as “Mr. Mom” in the pro-poker world, Lee lives in Modesto, but has extensive family including dad Louis Hosino here in Hawaii.
IT’S BEEN COLD in Sin City ... residents were encouraged to turn their sprinklers off as cars skidded on desert roads and a casino fountain became an ice sculpture.
THE AMAZING Johnathan Show has extended his run at the Sahara Hotel & Casino for one more year. Not for the weak at heart, his new Comedy Central special, The Amazing Johnathan - Wrong on Every Level, will be out on DVD in the summer.
