PENN & TELLER will perform the “World’s Largest Card Trick” at the opening of the 36th Annual World Series of Poker at the Rio … we can’t reveal the deal (bad pun intended), but they’ll be shuffling the giant 4-by-8-foot aluminum cards with forklifts!
NEED A VEGAS fix, but no trip in sight? Check out Kumu Kahua Theatre’s Aloha Las Vegas. It’s the story of a local family dealing with Dad’s decision to move to Vegas. Dan Seiki, Nara Conaty, Allan Okubo, Janice Terukina, Salli Morita, Eric Mita and Hawaiian105 KINE’s Tony Solis star in the Edward Sakamoto play running June 22-26. Tickets for the benefit are less than the table minimum at the Bellagio: $20 at the Kumu Kahua Theatre Box Office (536- 4441).
THE HARVEST FESTIVAL is the largest arts and crafts show on the West Coast and features hundreds and hundreds artisans. Check it out at Cashman Center in Las Vegas Aug. 26-28.
