It’ll be standing room only when actress/author/ Playmate of the Year Jenny McCarthy becomes the Playboy Club’s first-ever celebrity Bunny Dealer. Imagine coming home and telling your buddies how you got pounded by Jenny ... you stand on 20 she hits a 14 for 21, you hit a 14 and stand on 19 she turns over a pair of queens. Professional poker players wonder if they’ll ever win a main event after another amateur takes home the World Series of Poker bracelet. Psychologist-social worker Jerry Yang started playing two years ago and won his way to the top starting at a $225 satellite tournament. The poker champ has pledged 10 percent of his 8.25 million dollar win to the Make A Wish Foundation, Feed the Children, the Ronald McDonald House and Loma Linda University. If you were wondering, he said “I did a lot of bluffing. You have to be very aggressive right from the start. It’s the only way to win this tournament, and that was what I did.”
The jury’s still out on how much longer Broadway musicals will continue to play in Vegas. Three of the four shows on the strip, Mama Mia, Monty Python’s Spamalot, and The Producers are down to seven shows a week. Phantom is also down from 10 to eight shows and only the Cirque du Soleil show Beatles Love continues to pack ‘em in for 10 shows a week.

Lindsay Lohan celebrated her 21st birthday in Vegas right after she checked out of rehab, sporting the latest celebrity accessory - an alcohol detection ankle bracelet. We all would have raced her to the airport to collect the million dollar pay day for two nights work.
Britney Spears is confirmed to host the opening of LAX, the trendy nightspot patterned after the LA hot spot with the same name. Look for celebrity owner Christina Aguilera to show face too.
“A native of Honolulu, Hawaii” is how the article in the Caesars Palace Quarterly starts out. The Divine Miss M, Bette Midler is on the cover and the centerfold (it’s not that kind of centerfold).
