OBAMANIA hits the house of Wynn ... as you might guess, Steve (My Name’s On The Building) and Elaine (I’m On The Board Of The Building) Wynn are longtime members of the Republican Party. At least they used to be until Elaine met Michelle Obama. So taken were they of each other that Mrs. Wynn has switched her affiliation and has endorsed the senator (who used to be from Hawaii). Still no word from Mr. Wynn ... is he keeping his politics out of the bedroom and the boardroom?
SPAM, SPAM, SPAM ... John O’Hurley (Seinfeld) is back as King Arthur in Monty Python’s SPAMALOT at the Wynn.
WITH OUR economy slowing and the U.S. Senate working on an economic stimulus package, the Vegas casino bosses have been busy creating their own packages to stimulate their hotels’ economies. With more hotel rooms than ever before and more on the way, the capos can’t afford to have their occupancy rates or their takes in the casino drop. This is good news for players, who’ll receive all kinds of offers in their mail/e-mail boxes. Even the new $1.9 billion Palazzo is giving up comp rooms to third-tier players.
THE RESIDENT show at the Palazzo (Italian for palace) will be Broadway’s Jersey Boys. To date, about 2.5 million folks have seen the story of Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Previews of the Vegas version begin April 4.
STARTING AS a craps dealer and working his way up to casino owner, Terry Caudhill has increased the profit from his 2003 purchase of the Four Queens ($20.5 million) from $5 million to $12 million a year. Hoping to replicate his formula for success on the troubled Binions, the sale was just approved by the Nevada Gaming Control Board.

TILLMAN FERTITTA built Laundry’s into a nationwide chain of restaurants, hotels and a casino company including the Golden Nugget. In the ultimate game of “All In,” the CEO has offered to take the company private, buying the 61 percent of the stock he doesn’t own for a whop-ping $1.3 billion.
