That includes $2,632 at TAO beach, $2,862 at TAO nightclub, $3,008 at the Hard Rock and $365 at Scores (a strip club) plus a $2,000 tip!
SPEAKING OF gentlemen’s clubs, Cherry is the first of its genre to open on the Las Vegas Strip (near the Sahara). It also is the first to feature a waterfall and wave pool where the dancers ride cherry-shaped inner tubes, and it’s the first strip club to make all transactions cashless. You give your cash (or credit card) to a cashier, who then gives you a special card that’s used exclusively for all transactions. This way they don’t have to dry all those dollar bills ... can you imagine where an inebriated customer might try to swipe his card?

IT’S ALL THE RAGE in Vegas ... the recent home mortgage crisis has created “home rage,” where disgruntled owners are trashing their foreclosed homes just before they leave by flushing cement down the toilets, flooding and taking the washer, dryer and refrigerator. Banks, now akamai to the potential damage, are offering owners “cash for keys” - a bounty for leaving without destroying their homes.

WHILE WE’RE on the subject of bounties, the troubled Tropicana hotel is offering its housekeepers $25 for every bedbug brought in alive. According to the Southern Nevada Health District, the Trop gets an average number of bedbug complaints.
Varying in size from a capital O to a period (.) and with each maid cleaning about 22 rooms, it’s no surprise housekeeping hasn’t found one single bloodsucker yet.
WERE YOU as surprised as I to discover the number of people you knew personally who were affected by the loss of local jobs, reduced capacity and spoiled vacation plans due to the abrupt closing of Aloha and ATA? A big mahalo to all the airline employees, Hawaiian Airlines and the Hawaii Tourism Authority, who are working overtime to fill the pukas this situation created.
