Tina announced that (actress) Sophia Loren and (designer) Georgio Armani talked her into hitting the road after eight years for one last tour. Tickets go on sale May 12 and the tour starts in Kansas City Oct. 1. Bob Mackie created 17 different costumes for Cher’s show, including a pink warrior costume, a body-length Indian head-dress and “Cleopatra comes to Caesars"outfit.The show,featuring the divas and a preview of Cher’s Caesars Palace show, airs May 8.
WHAT YOU WON’T SEE on the show ... During a technical difficulties break, Oprah talked about her Caesars Palace Augustus suite. She said,“I’m staying in this high-roller suite ... It has a talking shower, music, a wall of water shower.“But what amazed the talk show hostess the most was,“It’s the toilet - the seat lifts itself. I had to ask how you flush it.You get a rear clean, a front clean - can you believe it totally cleans you? - then air dried with a nice scent. It’s so incredible I’m going to put the toilet on the show. I told the toilet,‘you’re amazing and you are the future.‘I used it four times it’s so nice. I’m very clean.
