The bikini celebrates its 62nd birthday on July 5, but the famous LA Sunset Tan is intro-ing its2008 Swimwear Collection this weekend at the Palms Pool. On hand for the unveiling is the entire cast of E!‘s reality show, Sunset Tan, including the Ollie Girls, Devin Haman and Jeff Bozz, Janelle Perry, and Erin Tietsort. While it’s appealing to the eye, there’s something oxymoronic about a pink camouflage bikini.
Congrats to Hilo Boy BJ Penn for defending his UFC Lightweight title against Sean Sherk in a third-round TKO in front of a sold-out crowd at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas last week. As UFC President Dana White said, “It’s an exciting, rare moment when you get to see two of the best fighters in the world face off and find out who the best is ... After 32 years, Humpy Wheeler is retiring as the president of Loew’s Motor Speedway. As a going away present, he gave each of the drivers an autographed $50 bill before their qualifying runs. Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kyle Bush both gave him da stink eye (like a Hawaii dice player when someone buys in with a Grant), both declined the money, saying fifties are unlucky.
