MEDIA MOGUL Jay-Z is rumored to be selling half of his Vegas 40/40 club to his landlord Sheldon Adleson’s LV Sands Corp. The Venetian/Palazzo parent company plans to add a world-class sports book to the sports-themed nightclub, and to expand the 40/40 brand to Europe, in a deal that proves the Rock-A-Fella is “the only rapper still gettin’ money in a drought.”
SISTERS WHO BATHE TOGETHER ... Now open at the Palazzo: LAVO, Latin for “to bathe or cleanse.” It’s the latest lounge restaurant concept by the people who brought us Tao, the Venetian’s Asian bistro with the lady in the bathtub.
CONGRATS TO WAYNE BRADY, who’s celebrating his first anniversary at the Venetian. It’s a great show that features his super-fast wit, singing, dancing and mimicking. Look for his first CD, A Long Time Coming, at stores starting Sept. 16.

A new company called Lucky Jet has door-to-door service - from your door to your hotel room door with a private jet ride in between. THE NEWEST SHOW on the Strip, Raw Talent Live, opens next month (Sept. 12) at the Sahara. It will change the way Las Vegas experiences entertainment.”
