Michael “Chip” Cathey has been hired as director of financial planning and analysis for Mobi PCS. Cathey will be responsible for forecasting and financial reporting in his position as director of financial planning and analysis. He previously served as the senior project manager at Agility Solutions.
Tony Galima has been appointed manager of information systems for Scanlan Management’s Jack in the Box. Galima will be responsible for designing and overseeing the organization’s computer systems. Galima previously spent 11 years with Cimm’s and Kazi Foods.
Donna Yano has been named vice president of human resources and communications for Scanlan Management’s Jack in the Box. Yano will be responsible for overall management of the company’s human resources functions and coordinating the marketing and community programs.
Lisa Levine has been promoted to vice president of membership for PBS Hawaii. Levine joined the company in September 1992 as director of membership.
Lucy Ahn has been promoted to vice president of corporate support for PBS Hawaii. Ahn joined the firm in 2003 as director of corporate support.
Kathleen Kosaka has been promoted to senior membership specialist for PBS Hawaii. She joined the company in February 2003.
Jon Borgonia has been named web site programmer for Team Vision. He will be responsible for facilitating web site updates, programming e-newsletters and optimizing client web sites for favorable search engine listings. He previously worked as a web developer for Orig Media.
Leslie Wilcox has been named PBS Hawaii president and CEO. She previously worked as a news anchor at KHON.
Adam Funari has been named web production assistant for Team Vision. His past employment includes working for Innovative Consulting and CompUSA.
Brandon Bell has been named an agent for State Farm Insurance. He was previously a wholesale manager at Tony Group Autoplex for three years.
Larry Welsch has been named an agent for State Farm Insurance. Welsch was previously a field branch manager with Kelly Services. He has 16 years experience in the temporary help and direct placement employment field.
Anita Diniega has joined State Farm Insurance as an agent. Diniega worked previously as a senior loan officer at American Savings Bank for four years.
Ryan Chun has been named marketing manager for Crazy Shirts. He was previously senior communications coordinator at MullinTBG.
Hiro Matsuda has been named regional director of sales and marketing-Asia for the Hilton Hotels. Matsuda is charged with overall development and implementation of strategic sales and marketing plan for Hilton Hawaii properties in Asia. He will continue to oversee a staff of 15 team members.
Akila Takabayashi has been appointed to regional assistant director of sales-Asia for the Hilton Hotels. Takabayashi started at the San Francisco Hilton as international sales manager-Asia.
