Guy Underkoffler has been promoted to senior vice president of Aqua Hotels in Waikiki. His previous experience in converting and assessing the potential of newly acquired hotels has helped to initiate structure and development of Aqua’s Strategic growth plan.
Mary Townsley-Ross has been promoted to vice president of corporate communications for Bank of Hawaii. As part of her duties, she will continue to oversee the bank’s internal communications for print and web-based channels.

Maggie Phan has been appointed vice president and internal audit deputy manager for Central Pacific Bank. Prior to joining CPB she was at Investors Bank & Trust, Fidelity Investments, and Fleet Financial Group in Boston.
Ross Matsubara has been appointed to account coordinator for the corporate and public affairs division of Stryker Weiner & Yokota Public Relations Inc. He will be responsible for providing clerical and account support to the corporate and public affairs division.
Desiree Yamamoto has been hired as marketing and client services manager for PacRim Marketing Group Inc. Yamamoto was previously a client service and planning executive for Red Rover Creative. In her new position, she will be responsible for helping clients reach the Japanese market through various marketing services.
Mary Weisman has been hired as senior vice president and credit risk manager for Central Pacific Bank’s Credit and Risk Group. She will be responsible for coporatewide oversight of credit policies and procedures, credit portfolio reporting and management, and reserve analysis.
