Grady Chun has been appointed district general agent for Colonial Supplemental Insurance. Chun also is a financial consultant and adviser for Linsco/Private Ledger and a registered investment adviser. He previously served with AXA Advisors LLC in Honolulu and San Francisco.
Caryn Komori has been named human resources coordinator for Island Insurance Company Ltd. She will be responsible for employment, recruitment, benefits, health and welfare, and training. Komori was previously human resources program specialist for Hawaiian Airlines.
Scott Wonghas been appointed assistant area office leader for Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties’ Waikiki office. In his position, Wong will be responsible for mentoring and motivating more than 60 sales associates in providing exceptional service to their clients.
Chris Nemoto has been named a preview team member for Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties. As a preview team member and sales associate, Nemoto is working on earning the preview specialist designation - agents who meet a certain criteria of luxury market experience and training. Nemoto’s market focus is luxury condominiums.
Neal Nakashima has been hired as corporate director of risk management and insurance for Outrigger Enterprises Group. Nakashima will oversee the risk management and insurance functions locally and internationally for the organization. He has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry.
Sandra Sakuma has been appointed area office leader for the Windward office of Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties. She also will continue her duties as vice president. As area office leader, Sakuma will manage more than 100 real estate agents and make sure that the Windward office staff and sales associates are provided with the necessary coaching and training.
Bonnie Oppermann has been hired as senior vice president, specializing in industrial and investment properties for Grubb & Ellis/CBI Inc., a Hawaii-based commercial and residential real estate firm. She is a Hawaii licensed attorney and real estate broker, and most recently was the principal broker for the Grand Wailea Lifestyles.
Antonio Saguibo Jr. has been promoted from assistant vice president of marketing to vice president of account management for HMSA. He will handle relations with HMSA’s large employer and union groups, and will oversee corporate accounts and community sales and service, among other responsibilities.
Paul Schnur has been promoted to vice president of Provider Services and Contracting for HMSA. Prior to his promotion, Schnur was vice president of Hospital Network Management and Support. He will be responsible for overseeing all hospital and provider network contracting and servicing.
