Nancy Schnur has been named senior designer at Wayne Parker, Partners in Design. Schnur has been with the firm since 2004 and focuses on residential and hospitality design products. She previously worked in the visual merchandising field at major Hawaii retail firms.
Jamie Hernandez has been named grants administrator for the UH West Oahu Business Office. Hernandez previously worked as institutional support in the School of Ocean & Earth Science Technology at UH Manoa. She now oversees day-today management of all the extramural funds, including generating financial status reports and maintaining accurate and timely records.
Scott Suemoto has been named sales and marketing manager for Ko Olina Golf Club. His responsibilities include overseeing the overall sales and marketing of the golf club’s products and services. Suemoto previously served as wholesale groups manager at ResortQuest Hawaii.
Tom Cross has been promoted from director of operations to resort manager for Turtle Bay Resort. Cross joined the resort and Benchmark Hospitality International in 2005 as director of conference services, and food and beverage, following a decade of leadership experience at other Hawaii resorts.
Lester Ishimoto has been appointed financial aid officer for UH West Oahu. Ishimoto will be responsible for fund management, reconciling accounts, set-up and modifications of the Banner system, and awarding financial aid, to name a few. Ishimoto has more than 20 years of financial aid experience and most recently worked as a financial aid administrator at the Digipen Institute of Technology in Washington.
Renee Oyama Evans has been hired as senior designer for Wayne Parker, Partners in Design. Evans previously operated Renee Reiko Designs, designing, manufacturing, wholesaling and distributing women’s apparel. She joined Partners in Design in 2001, focusing on schematic design, among others.
