Jason Meyer has been named account executive for Becker Communications Inc. Meyer brings a wealth of experience to the company from inside the Washington, D.C., Beltway, where he worked on issues of advocacy, public affairs outreach and online communications. He also has diverse knowledge of industries, including energy, agriculture and transportation.
Dr. Thomas J. Kane III has been named medical director of The Queen’s Joint Center. Kane served as assistant chief of orthopedics at The Queen’s Medical Center since 2003. He also is the founder and director of the Joint Reconstruction Institute of the Pacific.
Dane Shimabuku has been promoted to consumer loans production manager for Aloha Pacific Federal Credit Union. He will be responsible for leading improvement projects, such as the streamlining of loan processing, enhancing loan product offerings and conducting training for all lending staff, among other duties. Shimabuku has 19 years of finance experience.
Leatrice Grantham has been appointed manager of Tropics Bar & Grill at Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort & Spa. She previously worked at the hotel from 1990 to 1994 as a food and beverage manager. Since then, she has held positions at California Pizza Kitchen, Ghirardelli chocolate, and restaurant manager for Halekulani Hotel.
Rayna Man has been named an agent for State Farm Insurance. Her duties include providing a variety of State Farm insurance and financial products to meet customers’ needs. Prior to joining the company, Man was an independent life-insurance agent specializing in health-insurance products.
Jason Fujioka has been promoted to indirect lending manager for Aloha Pacific Federal Credit Union. Fujioka joined the credit union in 2006 and since then served as dealer finance officer and assistant dealer finance manager. He will continue to build and maintain relationships between Aloha Pacific and its business partners.
