Greg Johnson has been hired as director of catering sales and services for Events International Inc. Johnson most recently served as vice president of operations/director of catering for Indigo Restaurant. In his new position, he will manage a newly formed alliance with Chef Chai Chaowasaree and Chai’s Island Bistro.
Jolie Zhou has been appointed assistant executive house-keeper for Hilton Hawaiian Village Beach Resort and Spa. Zhou joins the Village after six years at various restaurants including Dynasty, Buffet 100 and L&L Hawaiian BBQ. In 2007, she became assistant manager at ABC Stores, and in 2008, she served as housekeeping supervisor at Castle Hotel & Resorts.
Michael H. Kita has been named division director of supply and logistics for The Gas Company. In this position, he will be responsible for controlling and managing the entire statewide inventory of synthetic natural gas and propane, among other duties. Kita has nearly 30 years’ experience with The Gas Company.
Quin Ogawa has been appointed vice president, fiscal services and chief financial officer for Kuakini Health System. He rejoined Kuakini’s Health Care Team to fill his former administrative position after a two-year stint at Shriners Hospitals for Children. Ogawa began his career at Kuakini in 1996 as a senior internal auditor.
Gabe Stepanic has been promoted to branch vice president for Coda Financial Group. In this position, Stepanic will be responsible for business operations of the company’s Cary Branch Office. He joined the company in 2002 as an associate representative.
Stephen Foster has been appointed manager of Kuakini’s Cardiac Catheterization Services. He joined the Kuakini Health Care Team as a cardiac cath technologist in June and will now manage the Cardiac Cath Services operations, and will continue working on processes and initiatives to better service patients
