Ai Matsuda Chung has been appointed international sales and service manager for Hawaii Convention Center. Chung has more than 10 years experience in sales and marketing in the hospitality industry and was most recently guest relations manager at the Waikiki Parc Hotel. She will now be responsible for nurturing and maintaining relationships with local offices of Asia travel companies and will handle corporate and incentive bookings from Japan, Korea and China.
Scott Saville has been hired as project developer for RevoluSun. In this role, Saville will work with residential and commercial customers to find the best solar systems and financing options available to meet their needs. He previously was a founding partner of Tre3ees, a company that helps other businesses reduce their environmental impact.
Gary K. Iki has been named senior vice president and manager in the Special Assets Department for Bank of Hawaii. Iki is responsible for the management of selected assets in the wholesale lending unit. Prior to joining the bank this year, he was CEO and managing member of Pacific Financial Solutions.
Jacob Silver has been appointed executive chef for the Hawaii Convention Center. Silver has more than 20 years of culinary experience in Hawaii, New York and France. Most recently he the center’s banquet chef for the past seven years.
Patty Martin has been named director of volunteer programs for St. Francis Healthcare System. Martin served as vice president of human resources for the company from 2002 to 2004 and has more than 30 years of experience working in human resources. She will be responsible for developing a systemwide volunteer program for the company.
Scott Kuioka has been promoted to senior vice president and portfolio manager in Investment Management Services at Bank of Hawaii. In this position, he will oversee a team of investment professionals responsible for developing and managing investment strategies utilized throughout the bank’s Investment Services Group. Prior to this, Kuioka served as vice president and portfolio manager in the bank’s Private Client Asset Management department.
