Cheryl S. Ing has been hired as project manager for Philip K. White & Associates. Ing previously served as project manager and project coordinator for several Honolulu-based architecture firms and will now be responsible for overseeing many of the firm’s ongoing projects.

Rebecca Pang has been named account supervisor for McNeil Wilson Communications’Travel and Tourism Division. Pang works on the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau account. Prior to joining the firm, she spent the past six years with another local agency where she handled public relations for the Oahu Visitors Bureau and other tourism entities.

Jeff Fabry has been appointed as senior vice president, chief information officer and chief security officer for Island Insurance Company Ltd. Fabry will continue to be responsible for the development and management of long-range corporate technology strategies that support the company’s strategic objectives.

Divina Sanders has been named executive housekeeper for Aqua Hotels & Resorts. Sanders has been with Aqua since 2006, starting as executive housekeeper for Kuhio Village and later at Best Western Coconut Waikiki. Prior to joining Aqua, she was housekeeping manager at Mauna Kea Beach Hotel and front office manager at Kona Billfisher condominium on the Big Island.

Melissa Malahoff-Kamei has been promoted to account supervisor for McNeil Wilson Communications. MalahoffKamei works on the Kauai Visitors Bureau and Royal Hawaiian Center accounts. She joined the firm in 2007 after working for another local public relations company.

Kasey Leavitt has been hired as administrator for Geobunga, a resource for homeowners, contractors, landscape designers and green thumbs. In this position, Leavitt provides administrative support, assists in monitoring sales trends and makes recommendations for maximizing goals and objectives, among other duties.

Brent Flygar has been promoted from vice president and corporate tax manager in the Controllers Department to senior vice president and director of corporate tax at Bank of Hawaii. He is responsible for management of the bank’s corporate tax governance including tax planning, preparation of federal and state tax returns and related accounting.
