Jackie Oldbury has been named Realtor-associate for Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties’ Windward office. In this role, Oldbury specializes in luxury residential homes and condominiums in East Oahu. Prior to joining the firm, she served as a Realtor for Prudential Locations.
Robyn Ishikawa has been hired as product manager for Mobi PCS. Ishikawa will be responsible for introducing new phones, data products and accessories, among other duties. Ishikawa began her career in the telecommunications industry in 1988 as a carrier services coordinator for Sprint.
Jim Didion has been appointed REO coordinator for Coldwell Banker Pacific Properties. Didion previously served as a Realtor associate with Century 21 All Islands. He will now assist the REO team in managing and marketing properties for local and national lenders. His duties include property preservation, project management and valuations.
Gunther Hasinger has been appointed director of the Institute for Astronomy at UH-Manoa. Hasinger previously served as the scientific director at the Max-Planck Institute for Plasma Physics in Garching, Germany. His work there focused on the synergies between astrophysics and plasma physics.
Travis Taylor has been named account supervisor for Communications Pacific. Taylor most recently served as senior adviser of communications in the office of Lt. Gov. James “Duke” Aiona. A public relations graduate of California State University, Sacramento, he has extensive experience in media relations, issues management, crisis communications and community building.
Cedric Panganiban has been appointed assistant vice president of finance for Aloha United Way. Panganiban is responsible for all accounting duties relating to Aloha United Way’s receivables. He is a recent graduate of Chaminade University and was recognized as “Most Outstanding Accounting Graduate” in his class.
Robert Saarnio has been hired by the UH Foundation as major gifts officer for the College of Engineering at UH-Manoa. In this role, Saarnio will be responsible for the identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of private philanthropic major gifts to the college. He comes to the UH Foundation with extensive fundraising and development experience.
