Sonya Moniz has joined McDonald’s Restaurants of Hawaii as human resources specialist. Her core responsibilities are to inform employees about the benefits available to them through McDonald’s of Hawaii and to enroll employees in McDonald’s various benefit programs. Moniz started her human resources career at CARE Hawaii Inc. as a human resources assistant and then as a benefits specialist, and shortly after was promoted to employee relations manager.
Janet Yoshida bullard has been promoted by the University of Hawaii Foundation and the University of Hawaii Alumni Association (UHAA) to vice president of marketing and communications-alumni and donor relations for the UH Foundation. Bullard will manage alumni and donor relations teams, communications and marketing group, and the annual giving and e-communications teams. She previously spent 10 years as senior director of marketing and promotions for Hawaiian Airlines.
Jordan Chouljian has joined Hawaiian Airlines as a training specialist focusing on leadership development and talent management. Previously he was a partner at Honolulu-based management consulting firm OnTrac Learning.
Dean takasato has joined RIM Architects as the firm’s senior associate and healthcare architect. Takasato has more than 17 years of experience as a healthcare architect and medical planner for new and renovated facilities. He has served as an associate and project architect at Cannon Architects in California and Hawaii. He is a graduate of UH Manoa and is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and American Society for Healthcare Engineering.
Micky huihui joins the Pacific Islanders in Communications media content and talent team as community engagement coordinator. Huihui brings more than 10 years of experience in community outreach. Huihui will maintain existing partnerships with the Pacific community, as well as new networks with outside filmmakers. She previously served as the ‘Ohana & Community Development/Site director at Halau Ku Mana Public Charter School.
