Rick Ahn has been named director of business for the Kroc Corps Community Center. Ahn will be responsible for general business operations, including facilities, food and beverage service, finance and accounting, corporate compliance, legal and contracts, events, information technology and membership services. He previously served as the building project’s physical plant/engineering manager.
Chana Clark has been promoted to director of marketing for ProService, Hawaii’s leader in human resource administration. Clark will be responsible for all marketing initiatives, as well as providing support to sales, and overseeing sales coordinators and inside sales specialists. Clark has been with ProService since 2005.
Jimmi hemmenbach has been appointed Hawaii Pacific University’s associate director of international admissions. Hemmenbach will provide direction for the internal and external communication process, and recruit prospective students in Latin America, the Middle East and Africa. The HPU alumni was previously a high school teacher at De la Gardiegymnasiet in Sweden, as well as an assistant marketing manager at Nike in New York. He received a master’s degree in Spanish from Gothenburg University in Sweden.
Michael a. ragsdale, attorney and registered nurse, joins the law firm of Galiher DeRobertis Ono. He brings 35 years of legal and medical experience to the firm. Ragsdale earned his juris doctor degree from the William S. Richardson School of Law and is a noted representative of the Hawaii Nurses Association. He has worked at Straub Clinic & Hospital, Kapiolani Medical Center and Castle Medical Center.
Becky Dunning has been named Honolulu Theatre for Youth’s managing director. She will assist in the leadership responsibilities of administration, development and community relations. Dunning was formerly the director of operations and advancement for Blue Planet Foundation. She also has served as vice president of development at PBS Hawaii and executive director of Hawaii Youth Symphony.
