Lili Hallett has been appointed by Central Pacific Bank (CPB) as a vice president and staffing and employment relations manager. Hallett comes to Central Pacific Bank with more than 15 years of human resources experience. In her new position, Hallett is responsible for developing and implementing strategic recruitment and employment programs. Prior to joining Central Pacific Bank, Hallett was the Client Services/Organizational Development consultant at Hawaiian Electric Company.
Wendy Miles, a doctoral student at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, has been awarded a Fulbright U.S. Student Program scholarship to Indonesia. She will travel abroad for the 201112 academic year to live and conduct research in Indonesia, an APEC member economy, through the Fulbright U.S. Student Program. Since 2008, Miles has studied under the guidance of Dr. Krisnawati Suryanata at the UH Manoa Geography Department.
Tiffany Jay was promoted to vice president of operations for Turtle Bay Land Company Inc., a real estate investing company in Hawaii. Jay is a professional real estate investor who runs the day-to-day operations of one of Hawaii’s most active investing companies. Jay plans, supervises and oversees the renovations of Turtle Bay Land Company. Jay also conducts the critical in-depth analysis of potential property acquisitions and implements the sale of properties as the company flips them.
Kimi Morton Chun has been named Marketing Mom for MomsinHawaii.com, a social media community. Chun will help plan and execute marketing strategies for the online and “real life” community for Hawaii’s mothers. Morton Chun joins MomsInHawaii.com with more than 12 years of experience as an entrepreneur in technology and the arts. Most recently, she served as the executive director of the Arts District Merchants Association, where she was a key liaison between the arts district and the city of Honolulu.
