Kimberly Miyazawa Frank Esq. has been named YWCA’s chief executive officer. Frank brings a substantial background in advocacy for women, girls and racial equality, organizational development, fundraising and nonprofit leadership. She has been the principal at Kimberly Frank Consulting since 2006. Her primary responsibilities include incorporating sound practice strategies through strategic planning, executive development and coaching, leadership succession planning, strategic communication, change management and training.
Amy Yasunaga, R.N., M.S.N., Ph.D., has been appointed chief nurse executive for Hawaii Health Systems Corporation’s Oahu region. She will oversee the nursing services departments at both Leahi Hospital and Maluhia. Previously, Yasunaga served as the family nurse practitioner at the state Department of Public Safety, in addition to being the program manager of the state Department of Health Statewide Sexual Assault Program.
Matt Alleshouse has been named Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort’s chef de cuisine, overseeing Bali Steak & Seafood Restaurant, which has been named a Four-Diamond Restaurant for 22 consecutive years. Alleshouse most recently was executive chef and foodand-beverage director at Radisson Hotel Yuma in Yuma, Ariz.
Megan A Suehiro has been welcomed by Cades Schutte LLP as an associate in the Litigation department. While attending law school at Georgetown University, Suehiro served as a judicial extern to the Honorable Susan Oki Mollway, Chief Judge of the United States District Court for the District of Hawaii. Prior to that, Suehiro obtained her Bachelor of Arts degree in communication studies with a minor in Japanese language, cum laude, from the University of California, Los Angeles.
