Russell Pang has been promoted to senior vice president of Communications Pacific. Pang rejoined CommPac in 2011 after serving as chief of media relations for Gov. Linda Lingle during her two terms in office. He previously worked for CommPac from 1991 to 2002, and headed the company’s corporate communications practice as vice president. He has served on the board of directors for the International Association of Business Communicators’ Hawaii chapter as well as Life Foundation, Hawaii’s largest HIV/AIDS service organization.
Jenny K.H. Li has joined Bank of Hawaii as vice president and fiduciary adviser in the Personal Trust-Fiduciary Wealth Department. She is responsible for assisting customers in growing, managing and protecting their wealth by taking a proactive and holistic approach to managing complex financial needs. Prior to joining the bank, Li was a vice president and marketing manager at Ohana Pacific Bank. She is a board member of the Hawaii Korean Chamber of Commerce and is vice president, treasurer and board member of The United Korean Association of Hawaii.
Kamani Kuala’au has been elected chairman of the King William Charles Lunalilo Trust Board of Trustees. Lunalilo Home, established by the will of King William Charles Lunalilo, the sixth monarch of the Hawaiian Kingdom and the first to establish an Ali’i Trust for the benefit of his people, is a nonprofit organization that has been in operation since 1883.
Eric K. Yeaman has been named chairman of the board of trustees for The Queen’s Medical Health Systems. Yeaman is president and chief executive officer of Hawaiian Telcom. Yeaman succeeds Naleen N. Andrade, M.D., chairwoman and professor, Department of Psychiatry, John A. Burns School of Medicine, University of Hawaii-Manoa, who is retiring from the boards of QHS and affiliates The Queen’s Medical Center and Molokai General Hospital.
Cheyenne Handa has joined the Honolulu general office of New York Life Insurance Company as an agent. Prior to joining New York Life, Handa was an educator for four years, most recently teaching kindergarten. A graduate of Waiakea High School on the Big Island, Handa has both a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a teacher’s certificate from the University of Hawaii-Hilo.
