Noelle Liew has been named finance director for the Hawaii Convention Center. She previously worked as controller for The Arc. She will oversee all accounting functions including financial analysis, budgeting, contracts and purchasing.

Gary E. Liebl has been appointed chairman of Chaminade University’s board of regents. Liebl is the retired board
chairman of QLogic Corporation.
Sandra E. Siu has been appointed marketing communications specialist in the marketing division for Island Insurance Companies.
Anne Gasc has been promoted to manager of laboratories from research scientist for Oceanic Institute. She joined the company in 2003. She will be responsible for all of the laboratory facilities.
Joe Tabrah has been promoted to director of operations for Oceanic Institute. He joined the company in 1999 as manager of technology transfer.
David Ziemann has been promoted to executive director of research for Oceanic Institute. He will continue serving as director for the fisheries and environmental sciences department. He joined the firm more than 20 years ago.
Cathy Coelho has joined Hawaii Commercial Real Estate as an agent. She is a veteran in the local commercial real estate industry. She will assist customers with their transactions.
