Honolulu Symphony 3 Tickets For $45 Special
For some, these hard economic times have put a damper on leisure activities, so the Honolulu Symphony has responded with a great “3 For $45” ticket special happening now through Oct. 22. For this limited time, the popular concerts in the Halekulani MasterWorks and Toyota Pops series cost just $15 each - that’s up to 50 percent off regular ticket prices.
And that also means flexibility, as it allows music lovers to select from any of the upcoming concerts through January 2009.And any additional tickets can be purchased for only $15 each. But don’t wait until Wednesday, because the offer is only valid while quantities last.
“Each season, the Honolulu Symphony strives to increase the reach of its enrichment programs and concert experiences to more people - from families to young people to seniors,“says Tom Gulick, executive director, Honolulu Symphony.“This fall, many community members are watching spending carefully. The ‘3 For $45’ offering makes going to the symphony a wallet-friendly option for everyone who wants to experience world-class entertainment without the hefty price tag.”

The Music Of Ray Charles featuring Ellis Hall
Friday, Oct. 24, at 8 p.m. and Saturday, Oct. 25, at 8 p.m.
From country to blues, jazz, R&B and funk, the legendary Ray Charles set the standard for greatness during a remarkable career that spanned more than five decades. Join the Pops for this celebration of the music featuring multi-instrumentalist virtuoso Ellis Hall and hits such as Georgia on My Mind, Unchain My Heart and Hit the Road Jack.

All-Strauss Experience
Saturday, Nov. 8, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 9, at 4 p.m.
In the style of Arthur Fiedler - long-time conductor of the Boston Pops - comes this light classics concert that delights with well-known waltzes, polkas and more.
Sibelius Symphony No. 2
Saturday, Nov. 15, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Nov. 16, at 4 p.m.

Critically acclaimed banjo star Bela Fleck and the Flecktones bring their irresistible “blu-bop” mix of jazz and bluegrass to the Pops. Fleck, a powerfully creative force in bluegrass, jazz, pop, rock and world beat, will be premiering his new holiday album.
Peter And The Wolf - Holiday Concerts
Saturday, Dec. 13, at 8 p.m. and Sunday, Dec. 14, at 4 p.m.
Narrated by LOST‘s Jorge Garcia, Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf is the perfect holiday outing for friends, families and fans. Stravinsky’s extravagant Firebird Suite sparkles with bold orchestration and lyrical Russian folk songs. Enjoy Michael Giacchino’s fun-filled and flavorful music for the film Ratatouille.

Friday, Jan. 16, at 8 p.m. and Saturday, Jan. 17, at 8 p.m.
Celebrated jazz saxophonist Dave Koz returns to Honolulu for two romantic and elegant concerts featuring chart-topping songs, such Koz’s moving rendition of Over the Rainbow,which received a Grammy nomination for Best Pop Instrumental Performance.
