The Rotary Club of West Honolulu celebrated its 55th annual David Malo Award banquet last month at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. The award recognizes individuals of Hawaiian ancestry who have distinguished themselves with accomplishments in the arts, education, community service, business and more. This year’s award went to Eddie Kamae, distinguished singer, musician, composer, documentary director and author.
