Kick Start Karate hosted its ninth annual Taste of Kick Start earlier this year at the historic Bayer Estate. The event included pupus by the Island’s top chefs, a silent auction and musical entertainment. Kick Start Karate is a nonprofit headed by former HPD Chief Lee Donohue to provide alternative activities to combat juvenile delinquency.
