2005 Flavors of Technology
The 2005 Flavors of Technology was held recently at the Sheraton Waikiki, and was attended by more than 900 guests.
The event honored Dustin Shindo, Hoku Scientific’s founder and CEO, with the 2005 Tech Company of the Year award. In addition, Karl Okemura of Sony Hawaii, Dr. Patrick Sullivan of Oceanit and David Watumull of Hawaii Biotech were inducted into the Technology Hall of Fame. Nonie Toledo Hamm, vice president and general manager of Sprint, also won the first annual Tech Woman of the Year Award. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Pacific Technology Foundation.
