Jackie Joyner-Kersee was one of the guest speakers at the fundraising gala dinner celebrating the 35th anniversary of Title IX and women’s athletics at the University of Hawaii recently.

The evening was hosted by American Savings Bank and Hawaiian Electric Industries Inc. The event honored late U.S. Rep. Patsy T. Mink, and all proceeds from the event benefited the UH Rainbow Wahine Athletics.
