Boy Scouts Honor Distinguished Citizens
The Boy Scouts honored their 36 Aloha Council presidents from the last 100 years at their annual Distinguished Citizens dinner last month at the Sheraton Waikiki Hotel. The event was part of a year-long Centennial Celebration of the Boy Scouts in Hawaii. A final key event of the year will be the official planting of the Centennial Tree at the Aloha Council Headquarters Oct. 8.
