Cool Kailua Nights welcomed the community to the first ever street and wellness event, where monies raised benefited Castle Medical Center’s chemotherapy unit. Folks enjoyed food booths, live bands, activities, a silent auction and much more.

The wellness fair included educational and interactive information by the American Cancer Society, Susan G. Komen Foundation, the Hawaiian Humane Society and Castle Medical Center’s WOW van. Organized by local girl Danielle Scherman, the event was such a success that there are plans to make it an annual event.
