Easter Seals’ Ku‘oko‘a Awards Dinner
Del.icio.usMore than 100 guests attended the Easter Seals Ku‘oko‘a awards dinner recently at Alan Wong’s Pineapple Room. The excitement in the air was likened to a night at the Emmys as Easter Seals honored individuals and companies for their community support, advocacy efforts and volunteerism.
Winning the Media award were MidWeek/Honolulu Star-Bulletin, Clear Channel and KHNL News 8/KFVE The Home Team. Also included as award-winners were Dianne Imamura, Dave McCurdy, Richard Guzman and Ann Taketa for community service. Lee Ann Matsuda and D.J. Chee received the President’s Award. And Sue Brown and Dr. David Fray received the EDI Advocacy Award.
