Excellence In School Leadership
The Public Schools of Hawaii Foundation, an independent non-profit corporation, held its 14th annual Kulia I Ka Nu‘u awards banquet at the Hilton Hawaiian Village Coral Ballroom recently.
More than 1,000 people attended the event where three public school graduates and a corporate honoree were recognized for attaining a high level of achievement. They were Alton T. Kuioka of Kalani High School,Wesley T. Park of Roosevelt High School and Emme Tomimbang of Farrington High School. Island Insurance Company Ltd. was also recognized. Randall Miura, principal of Leihoku Elementary School, was the recipient of the Masayuki Tokioka Excellence in School Leadership award.
