Farrington Hall Of Fame Dinner
Six Farrington High School Hall of Fame recipients were honored recently at the Governors’ Hall of Fame dinner. Honorees were Kellet Min, Robert Kuroda, Jesse Sapolu, Cha and Jack Thompson and Romy Cachola.
Jesse Sapolu, class of 1979, was an NFL All-Pro offensive lineman with the San Francisco 49ers and four-time Super Bowl champion.
Kellet Min, class of 1954, is a Hawaii educator who co-founded the Farrington Alumni and Community Foundation.
Robert T. Kuroda, class of 1940, is a posthumous recipient of the Medal of Honor for extraordinary heroism in action as a member of the 442nd Regimental Combat Team in France during World War II.
Cha and Jack Thompson, class of 1964 and 1963, founded and own Tihati Productions Ltd.
Romy Cachola, Honolulu City Councilman who has represented Kalihi as an elected official since 1984, was a state representative until 2000 and since then has served on the council.
The funds raised at this event will go to the Farrington Scholarship Endowment Fund.
